This statement could hint towards a March or later release window, which is not that far, and we might learn more details about the gameplay and new additions to the game. Bandai Namco has already launched a dedicated Tekken 8 website which mentions their goals for Tekken 8. Undoubtedly, the aim of the studio with Tekken 8 is ambitious. The fact that Tekken 8 is entirely next-gen, specially developed for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and PC with the latest Unreal Engine 5, unlocks many possibilities that can be implemented in the game both in terms of visuals and new gameplay mechanics. The TEKKEN series holds the record of being the longest-running story in a video game franchise.
